Paul Griffiths, Director
Paul’s key skills lie in an integrated mix of strategic thinking with commercial real world advice aimed at adding substantial value to his clients’ acquisition and business growth processes. Paul has been involved in assisting buyers with their corporate finance activities since 2008 and specifically focuses on supporting private individuals, HNWs, private equity investors and corporate businesses to source a target acquisition and thereafter, subject to the client’s needs, he can support them all the way through the acquisition process, culminating in a successful purchase. Paul always offers honest, open and genuine advice which is practical and realistic.
Paul has very strong links with a range of professional advisers including solicitors, due diligence experts, funders, tax and accounting professionals and others such as insurance companies, HR advisers, pensions providers, etc.
Paul has excellent relationships with sell side advisers who provide an ongoing stream of businesses which prove to be an excellent target for the type of clients Auxilium supports.
In addition, Paul is happy to exchange fees for equity in a target and work with a buyer to effect a transaction on a joint equity basis.
Sarah Ashworth, Deal origination coordinator and buyer support
Sarah supports all our buyers with a variety of services, including: deal origination; engagement with funders and external professionals; administration; sell-side follow up activity; etc.
Sarah also coordinates buyer activity on the automated deal origination platform, www.valiusgroup.co.uk which summarises over 800 businesses for sale all in one place and offers buyers access to these deals. There is also a Knowledge Hub offering over 50 insightful articles about the business buying process to support “first time business buyers” in learning all about the key facets of the process.
